| Aunque parece un Hibisco, no lo es, aunque si pertenece a la misma familia. Su flor no se abre como lo hacen los hibiscos. Esta especie es nativa de México, Centro y Sudamérica y el Sur de Estados Unidos. |
| Though this looks like a Hibiscus, it is not, although it does belong to the same family. Its flower does not open like a hibiscus. It is a native of the Southern US, Mexico, Central and South America, which makes it´s English names a bit of a mystery |
